Fantasy Football 2015 Wrap Up

And the winner is…not me. But I did take second place my first year which still rewarded quadruple the amount of my initial buy-in. And as far as my first year playing Fantasy Football goes, it was definitely a success. It goes to show you can go from knowing nothing to beating 10 of your friends at something they’ve been following for over a decade. Fantasy Football 2015 = a success!

Never let them bring you down, ladies.

What’s Next?

I’ve learned a lot along the way. All the articles I’ve written on Fantasy Football since starting have been integral to learning the game. They say the best way to learn is to teach, and that holds true here.

UPDATE: December 29, 2021

Six years later and the same league is still going strong! In fact, I’m now in a second league as well. I’ve placed in both but more importantly, placed first in my original league a few years back! Felt good to finally come out on top after a couple years of taking second place.

More importantly, the Fantasy Football league has been a way for all those friends to keep in touch. Several friends have moved out of state, and almost all of them out of Chicago even, where we all once lived, and it keeps people together. I highly recommend this as an activity for distant friends.

Fantasy Football 2015 was good to me, but what will the future hold? Subscribe here to find out and stay tuned for more home, budget and foodie lifestyle content.
