In short, Allegiant is that new outfit your best friend just bought and is wearing for the first time, with a clear sense of accomplishment. You’re smiling and complimenting her even though you think it’s hideous and hate every second of it.
It’s that upsetting.
Did You Read Allegiant?
I’m laying here, so awestruck, just repeating “I can’t believe it…” and I’m sure my boyfriend thinks I’m a lunatic who can’t get over a work of fiction. And maybe I am, because I just can’t.
This image was a note I found that the last library patron left in the book. Can someone say fan girl? You better believe I left it for the next person too. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of the otherwise pretty upsetting third book in the Divergent series.
Did you read Allegiant? Someone please share their sentiments with me because I refuse to accept it and forget about it and I know I’m not alone. Books don’t just end like that. Please be sure to call out spoilers ahead of time, though!
Read Allegiant very affordably here at Target or here for your Kindle.
Allegiant: The Lost Movie
In addition, years later, they went on the turn the series into movies and then stopped before finishing the full storyline the books delivered. There was set to be four movies, one for each book, and then turning Allegiant into two separate movies, but they stopped production before the fourth movie. This left the movie series unfinished halfway through the storyline of the third and final book. This made the movies disappointing for me as a reader, and completely unfinished for anyone who only saw the movies.
