Are you a year-round iced coffee drinker? If you’re feeling festive around the holidays, give my homemade mint white chocolate iced coffee a try. You probably even have most of the ingredients home already, too! Also, if you’re strictly a hot coffee drinker, this can easily be left hot, no need to pour over ice!
Mint White Chocolate Iced Coffee Ingredients
- 8-10 ounces of your favorite hot coffee
- 1/8 cup of white chocolate chips
- One Andes mint
- Splash of vanilla creamer to taste
- Splash of half & half to taste
- One peppermint circle candy (optional)
First, add the white chocolate chips and Andes mint to your hot coffee. These will melt pretty fast so stir frequently to ensure they fully dissolve before proceeding. Also, if you wish to add a peppermint candy to your coffee, do so here.
Next, to make the drink iced, pour the hot coffee over ice in your cold beverage tumbler of choice. As mentioned though, you’re able to make this drink hot by simply not pouring over ice. The choice is yours!
Next you’ll add a splash of vanilla creamer. This adds a bit more flavor to the end product, but you’re adding so little that it doesn’t make the drink taste like vanilla. Then, add half and half to taste (I always add more half & half than the vanilla so as to not overdo the vanilla flavoring).stir until mixed.
Enjoy your new beverage by a nice seasonal candle or with some baked goodies!
How was it? Did you give it a try? What would you alter about this recipe if you made it? Let me know in the comments!
