Skinny Blood Orange Martini Cocktail

This year for New Year’s Eve we plan to hang around the house and make a real event of it. I happened to have this delicious Dry Botanical Bubbly home and will be making myself a delightful blood orange martini to enjoy. It’s non-alcoholic, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it into a full on cocktail! Read on for my incredibly simple skinny blood orange martini cocktail recipe.

Skinny Blood Orange Martini Ingredients

Blood Orange Martini Base Bubbly

The bulk of my blood orange martini is made of this Dry Botanical Bubbly in blood orange flavor. I picked it up on a whim at Whole Foods but it is also available online if you order your Whole Foods for delivery, which I highly recommend. It’s been super simple when we’ve done it!

Making Your Martini

Add one shot of vodka to your martini glass. To ensure an even pour, first pour your vodka into an actual shot glass, then pour into your martini glass. Next, fill your martini glass the rest of the way with the blood orange bubbly beverage. Careful not to overfill it though, you want to be able to add your garnish and actually pick it up without spilling!

Once you’ve added your vodka and bubbly give it a light stir to mix the bubbly and vodka. Then, all that’s left is your garnish. I had these adorable star toothpicks laying around and decided to use these for the garnish, but you can just as easily let them sit in the bottom of the drink. That’s all there is to it! Easy, right?

Have you given this drink a try? Please let me know in the comments, especially if you’ve added your own unique twist to it. There’s so many easy ways to customize it with different garnishes, etc.
