To me, hot coffee is not a summer drink. Nor am I much of a hot coffee person at any time of year, but that’s another story. In the summer specifically though I like a delicious, light blended coffee drink. Enter my Starbucks Skinny White Mocha Frappuccino order.
It’s tasty without overdoing the mocha, keeping you light on your feet and feeling satisfied, not stuffed this summer.
How to Order a Skinny White Mocha Frappuccino
The Skinny White Mocha Frappuccino is actually SUPER easy to order. Most baristas will know how to make it ordered just as “a (insert size) Skinny White Mocha Frappuccino“.
However, they can’t make this drink 100% “skinny” because they don’t make the white mocha syrup sugar-free, so some baristas may ask you if that’s okay (it is).
How This Drink is “Skinny”
While there’s no sugar-free white mocha syrup, your barista can do a few other things to make this drink less decadent.
For starters, they’ll use nonfat milk versus the 2% milk default. Additionally, the skinny version comes without whipped cream. You can also elect to order less pumps of white mocha syrup, but I stick to the default.
Starbucks Skinny White Mocha Frappuccino Nutrition
Please note, I’m not recommending this drink for the nutritional benefits, just the delicious enjoyment.
This screenshot doesn’t account for the alterations we made, as the app doesn’t update that way, so use it as a guide. We removed the whipped cream which is a significant reduction in both calories and sugar, and the nonfat milk will take care of a bit of the fat. Thinking back to previous drinks where I’ve cross referenced similar drinks with and without whipped cream, that alone is usually an extra 100-120 calories.
While it’s an unpopular opinion, I don’t like whipped cream anyway so if you can go without, this is the easiest way to cut back on over 100 calories on most drinks!
